 “The thoughts of the wicked are shamefully vile and exceedingly offensive to the Lord, but the words of the pure are pleasing words to Him… The mind of the [uncompromisingly] righteous studies how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things”  

 Proverbs 15:26, 28, AMPC 

 God has blessed us with intellect as well as speech, and we can use these gifts to either bless or curse ourselves and others. Studying the Scriptures, we see that there’s a clear connection between what we think and what we say. If we think something long enough, we’ll speak that thought.
